I think B9 is leaning towards an EDM/'urban' (not real urban, but the DJ-Mustard type sound) so far with a few AC ballads/mid-tempos thrown in there judging by the producers we've heard of. I don't know how they're gonna make it sound like a cohesive album but we'll see

Matthew Koma is mostly EDM and so is Yellow Claw. Then there's DJ Mustard and Alex da Kid who do urban songs and people like Ian Kirkpatrick and few of the other songwriters we've heard of that do AC stuff. Just seems to be pointing in that direction.
