Janelle is always known for her high-energy performances, but this version of Tightrope truly showcases her ability to captivate an audience that wasn't necessarily previously exposed to her or her music up until that point. She took full use of the stage and gave 200%. The crowd loved the performance.
For my entry for this round, I submitted the indisputable King of Pop.
In approaching the challenge from a male performer instead of a female performer, I want to highlight two significant achievements. The falsetto and vocal ability of the late MJ is phenomenal and coupled with his impeccable dancing emphasises why he was, and still is, one of the best performers for a long time.
But you don't have to take my words, countless lists after his death cite his performance in Munich 1997 as his one his best performances. So despite this being in 1997, press play and enjoy an amazing performer and singer that is still able to compete with modern stage props and production.
