Something that's off with Halsey's story are her obviously cliche'd influences. She says she grew up listening to Biggie, Tupac, and Nirvana, but her music is more akin to P!ATD, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, etc., the real artists she grew up with. You can hear it in Lana's music but not in Halsey's (New Americana's sampled bridge doesn't count, it was a label decision!!!11).

Uh huh Halsey has almost hit that point where she's so terrible that she's good (like Heidi Montag or something) but not quite. As of right now she's still mostly awful.
