I think that's exactly the reason. American Oxygen and BBHMM bombed so they sent her back to the studio. She didn't put up FFS for free on Soundcloud, girl had a proper release, promo, and a music video. You really believe she didn't finish her album cause she is waiting for inspiration or something?

I'm not sure what the reason is. I don't believe that Kanye is the reason like she claims. She said she has plenty of songs to ready for release, so she could have done that without Kanye. BBHMM sold decently and everyone knows the song. It was #1 on iTunes for a week, it was doing fine at first. AO was going be release anyway because of March Madness. One flop isn't enough of a reason for them to have her scrap an album. And even if they had scrapped it (does Roc Nation even have that power? ) they would have sent her in the studio with Max Martin or Dr. Luke or Stargate or someone, not these unknowns she's been working with. She is the one holding the reigns this time, hence everything being on Westbury Road Entertainment. All I know is that it isn't because of a label telling her what to do, because even Def Jam would have had this **** in order.

You make a good point, they would have sent her with sure hitmakers. I don't think they scrapped it entirely (and yes, a label has that power) but maybe they advised her to work a little bit more in it. I thought maybe she was pushing for a Q4 release but a single should have been released by now.
