Okay so I listened to this in full order last night for the first time. My opinions are mixed, I want to like it more than I do

For some reason I wasn't as exited for this as I was last year for UV (looking for news on UV is what made me find ATRL) So here's what I think from first listen.
HONEYMOON 7/10
So this track is not as bad as people make it out to be

It's just abiT long but it builds up to the bridge so it has a point I guess. The bridge is flawless and I love the cinematic feel. I think she needs an entire album/EP with songs like Young & Beautiful, Old Money, Honeymoon ect
MUSIC TO WATCH BOYS TO 7/10
So I was super hyped for this as everyone else was and I guess it met my expectations. I think its one for the more accessible tracks from the album but after her saying this album was more like BTD (my least fave lana album) I was lowkey perched for catchiness like Radio/Nation anthem. Stilll good though and I love the instrumentation.
TERRENCE LOVES YOU 8/10
The people saying this track is the worst on the album

it had to grow on me (like most of lanas slow songs) but once it hit it was LIFE. Love the jazzy influences and the melody is so cute.
GOD KNOWS I TRIED 6.5/10
So I was PERCHED for this song when I was the tracklisting and its cute and serves Ride teas but its abiT repetitive and slow but it will probably grow on me eventually. The melodies in the bridge are great tho.
HIGH BY THE BEACH 7/10
I thought this song was weak when it was released as the lead single and I think its even weaker I context of the album. It's a cute bop for the GP and I like its trap production (which I think the whole album should of had) but its kind of just meh for me tbh. Her worst lead single. Still cute though
FREAK 8/10
Freak has one for the stronger and catchier melodies on the album and has great production as well. The way it flows into Art Deco is flawless and I wish the entire album did this. One of the more accessible songs on the album so that's probs why its one of my faves from first listen.
ART DECO 8/10
Flowing in straight from Freak is the third trap infused track which is another one of my faves. I love the synth line that it has though out the song and the catchiness of it all. Only down fall would be the lyrics are lowkey messy but I think I need to read into them more to get them.
BURNT NORTON 7/10
This interlude is cute and I LIFE for Lana's speaking voice so her reading poetry is LIFE. I just wish it was extended into a full track. Overall cute interlude though.
RELIGION 6.5
Another song I was perched for when I saw the track list. I was a little disappointed yet again but offcourse it could and probably will grow on me the more I listen. Its just average for now though
SALVATORE 7.5/10
This track gave me Americano teas and I love it. Such a cute bop even if the soft ice cream lyric is the MESS. Love the melody and the hook in this as well as the instrumental. Would be even better if it was trap infused like the other 3.
THE BLACKEST DAY 8/10
I got life from this track. DEEPER AND DEEPER part was life. Doesn't even feel like it goes for 6 minutes. The post hook melody gives me AFFA teas abiT and i'm here for it.
24 6.5/10
I wish this song was called 24 Hours

24 looks messy on my iTunes

but apart from my OCD this song is cute. Like all the others its slower and will need to grow on me because after one listen I forget how it goes
Swan Song 6.5/10
Literally same as above. Being the second last track I was sort of dead from all the slow tracks and sort of spaced out for this one. Ill need to give it a few more spins before it slays me
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood 7/10
The hate for this song

I never heard the original but this was cute for a cover and a nice was to end the album. The Other Woman is still >>>> though but
So overall ill need to listen to the album more for it to slay me but so far its abiT boring

UV had me snatched way more than this first listen but yeah it will eventually grow on me for sure. Myt ranking of her albums for now would be
UV > P > BTD = HM
