In the same interview he said no LGBT themes and Ramona and Gaga have/had a bisexual affair and there is a man dressing as Liz Taylor.

It's because we know so many things about her besides the music through ATRL.
There are plenty of people that watch AHS and not follow Gaga or watch her at all, they probably will have less issues with seperating the singer/artist Gaga from the aspiring actress.

In my opinion, the fact that 1 or 2 characters are a bit more important than the others, doesn't mean it's not an ensamble cast..

I keep forgetting how emotional asylum was, I was literally cheering in my bedroom for Kit and Lana to get OUT of there. And at the end when she escapes and so does he, and they talk about Sister Jude's life and death, I cried.

I think her character is really pivotal to the seasons storyline, more so than the other characters, but she's not that important screen time wise if that makes sense?
Like there wouldn't be a season without The Countess, but that doesn't mean it's all just about her- I feel like her character's actions gives the other characters their story.

But I think that could easily be said about any character-- the Hotel wouldn't exist if Evan's character didn't make it, either.

Asylum is really the best season. It's scary, it's sad, it's so stressing. Like, truly the best thing they've done so far. The "plot" twist, the possession, etc.
