Remember, this is just my opinion. Don't take it personally. I've seen one nameless person (*cough*) actually say Kanye's "Paranoid" is one of the worst songs of 2009, but I'm letting it slide.

The worst? "Boom Boom Pow" by a mile. It's a shame, really, because the rest of the album, from what I've heard, sounds decent enough. Not great, but not terrible. But god, BBP is not just terrible, it's uninspired and dull.

I don't remember if it counts as being from 2009 or not, but "Single Ladies" really bothers me. I think it's mainly for the chorus, which is just about the most annoying thing I've ever heard.

"One Time" was requested on Red's Party one night, and let me say that very few songs actually disgust me on *first* listen, but this song did, and I really can't put my finger on the reason why. It just sounded off and forced and awful.

Another song that really bothers me, and I'm amazed that few people have mentioned it, is the horrible "reinvention" of "Goodbye". Sorry, but freaking NO. One of the greatest arena songs of all time has been turned into a generic mess. Thanks for ruining yet another cherished memory of mine.

No other songs really stand out as being completely awful, that I've heard. Granted, I have not heard any of Pitbull's songs this year or Jonas Brothers' "Paranoid" or quite a few other songs mentioned here, but the four songs mentioned above really get on my nerves.
