Asylum > Murder House > Coven > Freak Show. I think this season will land on the same spot as Murder House, but I'm not expecting a miracle with Ryan Murphy.

Actually watching coven all the way through, you get the impression that it will be the best season until you get to the last handful of episodes which just take it majorly downhill. Because the whole season it feels like it's building up about Fiona and Marie, and then all of the sudden in the last couple episodes the both of them disappear. It's just so messy. Definitely the messiest conclusion of any of the seasons. Which is a shame, because if we did, maybe, the first 8 or 9 episodes of asylum against the first 8 or 9 episodes of coven, coven would be the best season. It's just unfortunate how coven went on to be the messiest conclusion while asylum went on to be the best.
The first episode of Freak Show is freaking amazing.
So much happens and the cinematography is on point. I'll admit that it does in fact slow down after the 5th episode but the introduction to the season is amazing. Twisty's character is so interesting, as mentioned a million times,
it's a shame that he was killed off so quickly.
He easily could have been the focus of the season.
Coven was so entertaining, but the plot and development felt flat and failed many times. if wasn't for that, it would be with Asylum for me bc the characters are amazing and the acting great. and I didn't finish Freakshow but the first 5 ones were not as good as the others seasons.

It's sad because the first episode was so complex. It was detailed and stuff happened.
They put way more effort into the background music and the atmosphere they built, only to lose it right after.
