Demi's image this era is so try hard and forced and she doesn't play it off well at all. If she wants to have success, she needs to go back to something along the lines of the "Unbroken" era image and sound, that is when she was at her best both music and persona-wise. All that promo for CTFS and the radio payola and it still couldn't crack the top 10?? Clearly, the gp ain't here for this Demi either
In all honesty, I just never, ever seeing them becoming A list pop stars. They're like the Ashlee and Jessica Simpson's of the 2000's, some success in music but nowhere near their peers.

I get the comparison but Ashlee's debut was a huge success in terms of album sales and popularity in general. Of course SNL ruined it all but that album had a huge start for any popstar. Neither of these girls are seeing those sales or that level of popularity.
Edit- Selena can't sing but her music is good. Good For You is one of the best songs of the year. THWWIW was good too.
