I think that for most of the time Jessica is massivly overrated ... don't get me wrong, she is an amazing actress but I think that she has overplayed the same role too much, like this is one of the reasons why typecasting and writting for a person is not always great idea.
Constance, Sis.Jude they were great despite the big similarities but then Fiona wasn't any fresh breath and although Elsa's big emotional and deep history she still carried too much of Jessica's previous roles' characteristics

Maybe it will be plus that this season Jessica will take a break from AHS so Ryan would have more time to think of a great character for her because honestly I wouldn't have been here for another reharsh of Constance/Jude/Fiona/Elsa-clone

Lily is just FANTASTIC. Every role she's played in the seasons she was amazing. Even her minor role in MH, she killed it. She is so underrated, and I really hope her ABC show fails so she can come back to Ryan

I read that even if the whispers comes back lily will only play a few episodes, she got upset when the filming the series of moved to Vancouver

yeah when I think about it I would say that Frances and Lily are on the same level for me (then comes Jessica then Sarah )... the diversity in the roles of those two is incredible and the fact that they have never failed to make an extraoridnary performance with the representive character .... stunning ...

Tbh I think it's that Jessica exudes that "bitch" role that gays really really LOVE. And there's nothing wrong with that, but I think in a sense that's why she can be so overrated on a show like this. We've seen her play the similar role time and time again. At least Elsa was more vulnerable.

Lily needs another villain role. Her face is SO beautiful and she's so cute, but then the devil literally comes out of her in Aslyum and she does it so well
