Ugh Zetsuen no Tempest was so close to getting a 10 for me.
I loved this anime, especially the first half, it was really intense with all the plot twists. I didn't like how Hakaze became so thirsty for Yoshino when she got off the island, totally ruined her character... I thought it would have been more effective and cuter if she was the shy love type. Another thing I did not like was Hanemura becoming the one who is "the hero" when really he's just some secondary character. I mean, Mahiro and Yoshino were literally sitting on the sidelines...also what was the point of Yoshino getting shot at the end? I thought it was gonna cause some big thing with Hakaze, but her just wrapped his arm up like nothing happened the next episode
I really loved all the Hamlet mentions though. The anime had a more sophisticated feel to it at first but lost that feel somewhat as it progressed.
Fuwa Aika was an AMAZING character. I loved how she was such an enigma. The scene of her death was so beautiful as odd as that may sound.
I'll give it an 8/10
But seriously the suspense compounds and then events happen and that's why it's good. Or maybe I'm weird. 
WHY? What a friggin cliffhanger. At least there won't be filler.
And even if the second season / remake is released, I don't think they'll do
