All the info that comes out before the show is very controlled. If it comes out beforehand, they want you to know it because its frivolous information that won't even matter by the end of the season.

If you're mad that you read the mattress spoiler, then why did they include it in the portrait trailer? Obviously the producers want you to watch THAT. It's going to happen within the first 2 or 3 episodes and then it will be dropped/become irrelevant. That's why they'd rather throw it out and get hype out of it instead.

I've been following this show for spoilers since Murder House ended and its never amounted to anything substantial. They haven't even finished writing the story ffs They'll be brainstorming and throwing out scripts all the way through January to come up with the final episodes, just like with Coven.

And? Some people don't want any spoilers PERIOD. Knowing something happens involving a mattress in the trailers doesn't mean knowing what happens (I still don't). The least you can do is be respectful of that and use spoiler tags, it's NOT hard. Everyone in the Scream Queens thread is doing that

Nice but what's wrong with not wanting to know who is stuffing who in the mattress?

I do not care if it's ''controlled'',
they just want to hype you so you switch in. But I do not want to know stuff like that before the show airs,
because I will watch it anyway and seeing a character and already knowing he's/she's ending up in a mattress by the end of the episode is boring imo.

The whole promo with that mattress is pretty nonsensical anyway when they already confirmed what will happen to whom and who's responsible.

Also the info they reveal this season is very messy.
Many people here complained that they spoil too much details, it hasn't been like that before, at least I don't recall.
Imo they should reveal the main plot before they reveal who is killing whom.

I wonder how far they are with the script, because of Gagas time schedule and ''her filming all her scenes in one time frame''

Then I would suggest getting off the Internet or staying off the base thread.

If Scream Queens thread uses spoiler tags, perhaps that's more suitable for you instead? Because I fail to see what the culture of one thread has to do with another.

Just to make it clear, I don't care what any of your complaints are. I was just offering you a bit of comfort knowing that there are no spoilers that weren't already pre-approved by Brad & Ryan. If you can't accept that, then fine, keep whining about getting spoiled while choosing to come into a thread filled with spoilers. Your choice.

Nobody here complained about peopel actually spoiling stuff instead of 1 post.
Someone just said that they don't want to know everything and are only here for the trailers or promos.

Anything that we know has been released via EW or in interviews, that imo isn't a spoiler and should be freely discussed, did i miss something that leaked that everyone is freaking out over that got spoiled for some people

Go to Freak Show page and see for yourselves when there is something to use in spoiler tags most people do that. So far there is nothing, literally nothing to use it in spoiler tags. The moment those news outlets announced that person was in for this season they also said that person was gonna end up in a mattress so that is not a spoiler.

However if I were to come across an information that was not given to us like, say, Wes Bentley's character is gonna get killed by Lady Gaga's and Matt Bomer's characters, I should give that information in spoiler tags because some people might not want to see it before the show.

If you can get the difference between these two situations you would EASILY understand that there is no need for us to use spoiler tags YET. Unless of course anyone has insider informations.
