i think USO 2015 was Serena's breaking point. LIke when the FO 1999 became Hingis' downfall moment.

I think some unexpected player is going to win the AO in 2016. The FO will go to a clay specialist. I see Serena in the final of Wimbledon tho, but I don't see her winning. The USO is going to be tough. It could be up for Serena. She could snatch it or snatch the AO 2017 and then slowly retire.

I see her winning 2 more Slams and retiring after the 2018 season, aged 36 with a 23 year lasting career.

Its completely depends on a player desire to play or not. If Serena has that desire she will continue to play for another 2 years but if she doesn't then she will quit next year or maybe even this year

Really I didn't know this. And his last 2 wins against Novak has been on Hard courts. But it still a major final and novak has the ability to raise his game in such situations. Federer off late hasn't been able to handle finals that well. But finger crossed for Federer to win this. I would have never thought that he will reach a final of GS again after his defeat against Novak at the Wimby's

I knew Flavia had this right from the start. She came out focused, determined, slightly scared while Roberta was chill and just happy to be there. Pennetta knew she had this match if she played anywhere close to her usual level. Those slices were not going to scare or put her off.

Slightly surprised about her retiring. But then i am not. She is 33 and there were moments this year when her heart was not in it anymore, plus body had taken a lot of beating during all those years. After winning USO it was just very good oppoertunity to say goodbye. We will miss ha.

Find a women tennis player like Novak to return her serves

Or do what Federer does when he plays against big servers. He just tries to put every first serve in anyhow and try to capitalise on the second shot if its weak and try attacking every second serve. But if first serve % itself is greater than 80% then I guess its very very difficult to beat such players.

This post reminds me of that Wimbledon final against Roddick. Andy really deserved that win and Feddy just blocked his ass. It was painful af, final set 16-14 or some ****. Andy could be so bitter about Roger but in interviews etc he stans.

I can't see past a Novak win today re: the surface, especially. He is like a frikkin gazelle on hardcourt.
