Sony probably wasn't allowing a 6-week preorder period. They're trying to transition to OA/OS releases. There was probably some negotiations done to even get a 2-week preorder.

It has been described as a "Motown ballad" but we know that the did choreography for the video so it can't be too slow. I'm thinking that it's really a midtempo.
