I wonder why artists don't snag these massive contracts anymore. Madonna & Michael getting $60M contracts, Janet $80M, Whitney and Mariah $100M
Ironically, Mariah and Whitney followed their contracts with their lowest selling albums at the time.
Because they can't guarantee that the albums will move a lot of units anymore.
I believe HDD reported that Adele understandably had the highest possible contract which was like 10-12M or something like that.
