They did have about 20 songs that were being considered for the album, now it's gone up to 24 for the semifinal cut.
This is exciting. And HDD does say it's the year's most anticipated album, which means it is probably coming this year. If they're already in the track selection process, the album is pretty much done. I mean, Sia and Damon Albarn both know already that their songs were cut, and it sounds like in both cases, the songs were recorded and just cut from the final track listing. If they're already this far along, we could have a new single very soon.
