The Sean Connery early movies (From Russia With Love, Goldfinger) and George Lazenby's one movie (On Her Majesties Secret Service) are all fantastic. Great movies. Half the Moore movies are bad. Dalton's Bond is pretty good.. Pierce Brosnan was the best Bond imho but he got some ****** movies sans Goldeneye.
All of these movies that focused on the Cold War and the Soviet Union felt like such a product of their times. Maybe it is because it was from a time that I didn't live but it always instantly made some of the movies lose me.

True. I meant to footnote that in there. But I'm mainly talking about watching these movies as a child and being so confused over why the Russians were always the bad guys.
