The song sounds good, I'm glad Rih passed on it though. I think Charli should have kept this for herself though.. I hope her next album goes in this direction and less punk-rock.
Selena sounds good on this. Doesn't feel like a second single to me though. After GFY we should have gotten something more uptempo / high energy. This is too mellow following an already mellow track.
It's not a Tidal Exclusive it's just that it was released early (I think).
I like the verses, I wish the chorus was just her tbh nothing against Charli. Interested in seeing the music video and hoping for more uptempo tracks on the album.

I don't think they were supposed to cause this radio station like an hour ago was bragging about how they were going to premiere the cover at midnight tonight and then the song tomorrow at 8 when Selena does an interview. Then coincidentally Tidal goes and posts it...
The lyrics needed a lot more work, like the bridge is pretty bad. Otherwise its okay I guess, doesnt feel strong enough for a second single but then again GFY doesnt feel like lead material. I feel like Selena is going for a more minimilistic and laid back approach in the production for this album rather than harder hitting dance pop.

I do think this/she sounds like Charli XCX, I don't see this song being a hit and I don't like the song. Hopefully Revival brings some full fledged bops.
