And even then, I'm not even sure it'll be selling 7M/6M/5M like them. Something could go #1 for 15 weeks with 100-150K each week and only have done 1.5M-2.25M from those 15 weeks.

2016 can be better because if no one released in 2015 (and wont in the rest) then Rihanna, Adele, Beyonce, Jay Z, Eminem, Gwen, Fergie, Black Eyed Peas, Britney, BRUNO MARS (god this can be huge) may release in 2016

Considering their last single majorly underperformed and their next will possibly end up getting pulled/cancelled, they'd be dumb not to release next year

Not to mention Gaga, Katy, P!nk, Christina (those last two released their last albums 4 years ago, it's been enough time since then for a new album), Nicki (she releases every 2 years), Taylor (#TS6), Kanye, and more. Next year seems so exciting actually!

I'm still expecting Rihanna this year (only out of my pure optimism). Adele is give or take.
But yeah, 2016 should be a good one for pop/mainstream... hopefully.
M5, Eminem, Bruno, Katy, and Gaga are all coming at the very least. Bruno will likely dominate.
Lol if Taylor releases T6 next year.

15. Elle King - Ex's And Oh's
So excited for this to be the big alternative crossover smash of the fall. I've been rooting for it for such a long time

Tay shouldn't. She need at least half a year of absesnce in media, because if not people will be tired by seeing her everywhere in the media.

Well, Taylor seems to be releasing a single every 3 months ("Shake It Off" in August 2014, "Blank Space" in November, "Style" in February, "Bad Blood" in May, and now "Wildest Dreams" in August again), and she's already confirmed more singles, so it can be inferred the next single will be released in November again, most likely with a music video premiere/performance at the American Music Awards.
I can see this era ending in a similar way to the Red era, with her performing a ballad at the Grammys (probs "Clean"), and then quietly finishing the tour, all while recording at the same time. If the 6th single (most likely "New Romantics" or "Out of the Woods" - I'm hoping for the latter!) is released in November, it'll be ending it's chart run in February, and after the Grammys, there'll be be enough of a media downtime (at least relative to Taylor) from March to July for her to debut her electronic indie-trap masterpiece lead single at the VMAs without running the risk of overexposure!

Grammys February 15 2016
SIO was released Aug 18, We Are Never Ever Aug 13.
August 19th or so would make sense, and it would be just past half a year later, yes.
Convenient how the notable applicable music awards shows are 3 months apart - for 2015, that would be Feb 8 Grammys, May 17 Billboards, Aug 30 VMAs, apparently Nov 22nd AMAs.
I guess She can just roll into the Billboards next year and do nothing but dance to perfs and possibly win stuff.
