I don't get why you all say this every year and both continue to be relevant with one working extremely hard to immerse herself into pop culture and another being lazy tbh but was and will forever be embedded into pop culture which is why she doesn't try as hard (bad excuse because she's was resting on it).
Three artists you don't count out and they did a pepsi commercial together. There's a reason why all 3 girls have had longevity in their respective fields pop, pop/rock/hac and r&b/urban

Many look at her as talented and when talking about how they don't see much talent in the generations they give her credit but as an artist they know EXACTLY the various artists she took her sound/image etc. from so they are quick to note that as well.
they prefer Adele and Alicia Keys as they are original, have their own sound and they don't wear provocative things for oldies to gasp at....its purely about their artistry.
Most that don't use Beyonce know she's stalented and an amazing performer but they don't necessarily agree that she is an amazing artist. Moreso amazing entertainer that is a smart businesswoman. Nothing wrong with that.

Am starting to do this myself. Both Rihanna and Britney are pissing me off. Britney's past her prime and Rihanna's lazy. Not here for it.

LOL. Britney has nothing else to prove. Rihanna actually does which is the strange part.

Just #1 move and album.
Her single at the time love don't cost a thing was a top 5 hit though

Rihanna replaced J.Lo tho.
It's no coincidence that J.Lo stopped being the global pop/urban/dance hitg0rl as soon as Rihanna debuted.
Now Ariana replaced Rih.

Had NOTHING to do with rihanna.
Everything to do with being overexposed after 2003 and also Mariah coming back so they didn't need JLO stealing Mariah's brand of rent a rapper and remix prostitution when Mariah had her comeback.
and Mariah soaring to the top and JLO falling to the bottom was NO COINCIDENCE either.
