Sounds of grunge(?) just to soak up the noise
We're ribbons on ice(?),
Playing their guitars, only one of my toys,
Cause I like you a lot,
No holds barred, I've been sent to destroy.
Freak next. Includes the lyrics endless summer, entirely strings in what seems to be the verses, then the pre-chorus includes some beats, truly embodying muddy trap with muffled instrumentation. The chorus is amazing, it's like a downtempo Florida Kilos, a very dark vibe with some echoey guitar strums, and as I say, muffled beats. Slower and more dark than HBTB, but very much related. It is to HBTB what Honeymoon is to Terrence Loves You - a darker cousin. |
