I believe it was intentionally done, to create the feel of an old recording.
guys, can somone compare between the quality of the YT version of Hoymoon and the HQ we got today with the ratios ans stuff?
Ratios?
They're hardly any different. People who say otherwise are just making it up in their heads. YouTube is 192kbps AAC, iTunes is ~256kbps AAC. It is a little more clear obviously but you won't hear new instruments or anything.
