The fact that people are trying to intellectualize this inanity is proof that 90% of music critics know jack ****, especially about pop/mainstream artists. 58 is too high.
I do actually agree lol. I think this album is so unapologetically not even trying to be good that some critics are trying to claim it's good.
Pablow is one of the only songs I enjoy from the album, but lyrically it doesn't even deserve to be on an album with a score of 30. 58 is extremely generous.
I'm not a Miley fan but it's not a fair battle when you as a person are being reviewed rather then the material that you put out. I mean sure, you can measure growth and compare between albums for example but it should never been downright dismissed just because you're person X,Y,Z.

Like, I'm not surprised at all by the score. The album is messy tbh. But critics are supposed to review the material it'd be interesting to see if reviewing just the music would give her a higher or lower score
