Y'all are creeping me out a bit with all of this posthumous talk
Anyway, I definitely think it was, Addict. If you listen to SFTTR Mix 2 it's most notable feature is the different ending, whereas Mix 5 has the big ascending ending that is also featured in YNSMA. I'm glad they made the change, and I'm glad they picked SFFTR lyrically of the two. The title metaphor has become so iconic.
And not RS putting the album in the "Fall Music Preview 2015" with no known release date or even title. When will the struggle end?

Yeah, agreed on EVERYTHING. (Great minds think alike!

) I'm glad they went with "Set Fire to the Rain" because, like you said, it's stronger lyrically (I mean, "You'll Never See Me Again" has the same verse repeated twice as opposed to different lyrics in the verses, and like you said, the title of "Set Fire to the Rain" is kind of iconic.) But I'm glad that we got those leaked songs because I still really love them, and it just shows that even her cut tracks are FLAWLESS.

Thankfully Billboard and HDD told us they're planning for November or else that Rolling Stone article would have just been another kick in the balls for us.

Yeah, tell me about it! I seriously want to get in contact with their editors and thank them because the news about her coming in November literally came at the best possible time.... It was a miracle, I swear!

I think you're right. I mean, he did some phenomenal work on the album, so I don't know. I feel like if she worked with him, he'd get her to be a bit more experimental with her music because he helped her evolve her sound musically a lot on
21, but I don't know. I guess she didn't connect with him the way she did with Paul or Ryan, but still, I find it odd that they didn't work together, according to
Rolling Stone. I feel like she would've at least asked him to work with her again, and I don't know why anyone would turn down the opportunity to work with the biggest artist in the world.
