Watched the entire six Star Wars films recently and I can say that all of them are plagued with mediocrity and terrible acting. The original trilogy can be excused because of the lack of technology, but the prequels really had some shockingly bad moments.
Well, it's not like it is known for its amazing acting, though it does have its moments. Alec Guinness was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance as Ben Kenobi. Ewan was good in the role too. Ian McDiarmid was fantastic as The Emperor in both trilogies. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher were both great.
