The same member also often uses a pic of Anne Frank in an inapporiate way as some sort of meme.
I hope the mods will someday pull a Goosey, or how that racist member was called, on him.

That post wasn't even 2 hours ago, sis. Some times even if there's a mod online, they rather wait and discuss how a reported post should be approached. Don't worry and wait until they decide what they do, give them time.

Maybe people whose family got to meet a similar fate to Anne? Or maybe people who sympathize with her. I don't know, I think Brunette Ambition has a point, you shouldn't use pictures of Anne Frank as a reaction pic or similar, that crosses the line for me. Even if it's not your intention to mock Anne or what she means for humanity, using her image for quick humor is not something I would do, honestly, and now that you know that some members doesn't feel comfortable with you doing it either, I would stop doing it. There are countless of gifs, pics and videos of teen girls writing a diary, maybe another one would be more appropiate to accompany your posts.

I disagree. It's just a photo of a historical figure. A positive historical figure, at that. It's no different
than using a photo of Abraham Lincoln or Ghandi or Michael Fassbender at the end of a post.

If I were your PR agent, I would advise that you not show your location (at least when you go on your Anne Frank rants against me [this is your fourth or fifth rant against me for using Anne Frank]). It just doesn't look good in the ATRL media outlets that a member from Germany is so determined to ban all usage of Anne Frank photos on the forum.
I'm just saying, it doesn't really read all that great in the ATRL press is all.

You are smart enough to know what my problem is with Anne Frank being used as a
damn internet joke meme to laugh about and to make your post seem super edgy.
Me being German, Anne Franks story being a big part of my school career, etc just adds to my aversion of that lame shtick.
I mean you designed your whole internet-presence to mainly get people rilled up,
but there is a difference between hating on a pop musician or making fun of Anne Frank. (Or HIV)
But if you really need that, I guess.

Just like my multiquotes (shout out to Vin serving slw84 teas with his multiquotes on this page), they know that it's not warnable but they still want to get their frustration out of their system.
Vin's pics/gifs remain legendary and have meaning behind them.
I don't ever hit the ignore button because it's silly to me but I just hope people who need to use it do it so that we can just focus on current news.

Sometimes it's really funny and I feel bad for having to warn it. But most of it is pretty lame. I don't mind it though, it's really another way to browse the forum. There are many fun/interesting threads that I never would've entered if a report hadn't led me there.
