lol I don't care what excuse he tries to use, it's a sellout song. Max Martin production with a strong melody that scarily resembles Teenage Dream in the pre-chorus.

Still not a fan of CFMF though. Ali Payami's funk pastiche is watery, the hook is weak (by Max's standards, anyway), and the lyrics are painfully lazy. The single entendre in the title is particularly half-assed.
I feel like some people might just only use Trap Queen in a comical way. I mean, when I first heard that song I thought it was a Youtube parody song or something. The awful drunken vocals is on the same level as that Applause demo leak. Even the instrumental is somewhat tragic

I put Trap Queen on at a party once and it went off. Everybody loved it, completely without irony.
Both times I tried to put Tinashe on someone asked me to change it.
