RR is a division of UMG. She signed a contract with them before the SIO release. They handle her radio releases. She couldn't have pulled off this kind of radio domination with BMR since they're mainly country based.
Wait I didn't know Republic Records only handle the pop releases this era. So it was Big Machine who sent Never Ever, Trouble, 22 and all other pop singles prior to pop radio before 1989?
Even poor Peak Low was more global in including fans
IKR?
She came here with the Speak Now world tour and she came here in the RED era for an awards show + a TV show. 1989 is suppossed to be her global era
Taylor didn't, but Scott talked to a girl in Loft 89
"He also started talking about how excited Taylor is about the tracks she’s thinking about for the next album and how much she loves the process of making something new. “She can’t stop…she doesn’t want to” is what he said when we started to talk about how she only has one more album left."
Taylor did mention the new album somewhere a couple weeks ago too. Can't remember where exactly.

They handle her releases to all radio formats. & Yeah, RR was a broke mess when WANEGBT came out. Charlie Walk saved it in 2013. He's so good @ what he does.

I know, it's so frustrating. She has to tour here again next year, it would be incredibly stupid not to. And it's not like it would delay her next album if it is coming out in 2016, since she did the same thing with 1989 and the Asian leg of Red. I'm just praying for an announcement on Ellen. Either way, we'll know in less than two months

Oh really? Awesome sauce. She must be aiming for October 2016 then

interesting!
I can't believe we're half way through the era already

She hasn't announced tour dates here yet but she's announced Australia so I guess she's not touring here this time. Kind of gutted since I missed the Red tour.
Can someone educate me about the connection between Big Machine Records and Republic Records?
Taylor has attended a few Republic Record events (like the VMA after-party) or the CEO of RR is always tweeting about her.
Do they have some kind of deal? Or is RR the distributer of BMR artists?
What Jaspurr said about the relationship between Big Machine and Republic Records is true.
I'd like to add that the guy in charge of promotion, marketing and PR at Republic Records is a guy called Charlie Walk, who is the Exec VP at Republic Records. It is Charlie Walk and his team who are helping to work the magic for Taylor during this album era in terms of marketing and promo. Charlie Walk has previously been credited with putting Destiny's Child and Beyonce on the map. More recently he launched Ariana Grande into prominence, and headed the promo for the smashes Bailando and Royals. He was in charge of Shake It Off's launch campaign. In the last few months he has helped sign and launch Hailee Steinfeld, probably because he met her through Taylor.
These are some pics of him

He is a very influential member of the US record industry and a key player in Taylor's team for this era.
Article about Big Machine in Nashville Business Journal.

Ten years ago this week, Scott Borchetta launched a new independent record label on Music Row called Big Machine Label Group. The semi-pro race car driver had signed an unknown teenage singer-songwriter as his first act and recruited a handful of executives who shared his vision.
We now know, of course, that teenager was Taylor Swift. Fueled by Swift and other all-star acts including Florida Georgia Line, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw and Martina McBride, Big Machine has become one of Nashville’s most successful labels.
The proof is in the numbers. During the past 10 years, Big Machine has had 64 No. 1 singles on country radio; 50 million albums sold; 200 million downloads; and grown employees to nearly 100, operating out of a building on Music Row.

Scott Borchetta said
'I think what we did with Spotify, when I went to Taylor [Swift] and said, you know what, let’s pull everything down. We’ve always windowed her music and kept it off streaming services for a window of 90 to 120 days, but it felt like the right moment. I said "You know what, let’s make a real stand." And she got it immediately. She said, "Yeah, let’s do it." Or if you look at the change with Apple Music and getting them to pay for the first stream — we’re dragonslayers, we’re not afraid of anything.
Were you involved with, or did you talk about, Taylor’s now-famous Wall Street Journal op-ed?
She had written it, then sent it over. I read it, went over it, and it was brilliant. We’re so aligned in so many things, and it was a very interesting piece because she was projecting into the future. It really kind of set the table for us to do some of these other things. It really set the table for when I went to her with the Spotify thing. She went, "Yeah, it’s consistent with our thought, so let’s do it."
You had Danielle Bradbury here today to perform. We’ve talked about Taylor Swift. One thing that’s dominated country music and Nashville is “tomato-gate,” the representation (or lack) of female artists, specifically on radio. Is it a real issue?
This all started from research, and Keith Hill, the way he presented it, he took some arrows for it. But he wasn’t saying anything all of us don’t know. We have a female-based listenership and the research says, females don’t like to hear other females. That’s what the research says. That doesn’t mean you can’t have success. We’ve had Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire. You look at the female artists I have been involved with over the last 25 years, it's the biggest of the big. We love female artists at Big Machine Label Group. Signing Jennifer Nettles last week, and we have others that are in development that are incredible. There will be another break through. We hope it’s us with the breakthrough. For me, I see opportunity. When I look and go, "Ok, it’s really just Carrie and Miranda and we’ll figure out the rest." Well, we’ll be one of the ones that figure out the rest, I guarantee it.

Wow! He seems like a very nice man. And he's obviously very talented in his craft. I mean he's behind Ariana's and The Weeknd's immense promotion and Taylor's huge radio domination.
I hope they continue to work together in the future.

Thanks for Taylor now we have a masturbation anthem

I'm not sure where you live but last tour she announces the London dates at the end of September and the Asian dates in mid-February.
I'd say it's normal that she hasn't announced 2016 dates yet.
