I think the Fallin-I'm Real switchoff was a result of airplay sharply declining during the whole 9/11 incident. iHype knows more about it since he showed me the receipts once.

Mmm, that streak was the beginning of when the Airplay chart #1 had almost perfect correlation with the Hot 100 #1, with the main interruptions being from American Idol finales.

Thank goodness for iTunes.

At least nowadays it's not one component that's the super dominant one to determine who's at the top.

Also, wouldn't this make The Weeknd the first male artist this decade to have three top 3 hits from the same album as Earned It is included in BBTM?

When IGGY made the re-release of her album (which was counted seperately on the BB 200) Billboard said that the TEA and SEA would count for the version of her album that was selling more.
It's not the same situation here, but I would guess that Earned It would count for BBTM.
