Positives.
Unique/unconventional song structures with very complimentary vocals, especially in Space Boots
Production has personality
Interesting 90s influences, made wild western and swing modern and fresh
Seemingly personal.
Negatives
Too long. Too many of the songs sounded the same. And for that it wasn't very memorable.
She should have cut the tracklist down to her top 10/12 most distinctive songs and spent more time in developing them, especially the lyrics.

I'm sure most people like myself was taken by surprised when Karen Don't Be Sad came on. Suddenly it went from Bangerz pt 2 to "ooooh it's that kind of album?" The following songs came across very candid and honest. Unconventionally real.
But by track 10, the novelty wears off and you begin to realise that maybe there wasn't a craft or skill to the songwriting on this album at all. Maybe she isn't actually trying. And by the last track it's clear that she just wrote the 1st things that came to her mind. Neither word play nor wit, just gibberish & cliches passed off as heartfelt poesy over melancholic productions.
5/10.
With half the tracks it could be a 7.

I'm glad that he wrote more than "Dis suxx, gimme WCS part 2, you hoe!".

d. I mean. I don't usually be in album threads but I thought it was ok to give reviews? Lemme make my own thread then
It's true the album got a bit repetitive towards the end because of the length, but you need to listen to it more and pinpoint your faves & u'll be able to enjoy all the songs in the end.

Good points, though I am kind of liking the fact that lyrics don't seem polished. It's like she sat down and wrote what's on her mind, and to me that seems fresh. It's as though you're listening to a conversations in cafe.
Karen Don't Be Sad is such a great song. It's really beautiful. For me the standout on this album. I still need more time for this and I missed the whole discussion that happended previously about favourite songs, etc.
Does this album have bops like the ones on Bangerz?
Lyrically Dooo It! Is like but the production has you bopping so hard. Forgive Yiew is also really good lyrically and production wise. I really enjoy the entire thing so I'd suggest just listening to the entire thing and choosing your faves
Half of these songs make me wanna burn all my Miley merch but then again i'm not stoned while i'm lsitening so that could be the problem.
I don't do drugs and tbh this album still really hit me. I don't believe you need to be high to appreciate it, though I do think music sounds generally sounds better when stoned.

Okay so I just listened to Pablow The Blowfish and I love it. So far I listened to about 5-6 songs and they're really unique and I love them. Can't wait to listen to the rest.
