Cherish - Dear Jessie - Oh Father feels very whimsical and surreal to me, and I really like that. I don't know, it's hard to explain. I've never understood the Dear Jessie hate in all honesty.

I agree, it's all encompassing to me. It's True Blue done right. A slightly melancholy but joyous love song that just revels in being a rollicking pure pop declaration of love.
I might let you off for Till Death Do Us Part though because I was a hater of that too until recently.
tbh. I use it, but only when it comes on. It's not a go-to. Not when LAP has EY and the title track.
