Urban music peaked in the 90s...where artist will still getting 'raped' by their labels.
Hip hop culture has been more inflused since the 00s but the quality has gone down and it's about catchiness.
When this was going on the urban community were ALL for taking credit but then have a problem when the younger generation that was influenced by this use it.
