I don't think it would end up rushed if they have their **** together. Ryan, Brad and Tim Minear could easily spread themselves out and divide to work on two seasons simultaneously. They have a huge writing staff as it is and It sounds like they've hired a new group, so it won't be the same individuals working on both seasons.
Plus I think this would give the show a chance to show off some new talent while still having more than enough room for the main cast everyone loves. Honestly I think it could be a huge success if done correctly.
I think that too + AHS is really short imo so making Sept-Dec one season and than in the Spring 2nd season it will satisfy the fans who wait for 9 months analyzing **** on the forums + the GP loves it so it;s a win win + Ryan said that there will be 2 diff writting camps
