Gaga has scratch marks all over her neck and chest too, so I think it's likely that the Leeches feed from her own blood.

I wonder if the Ten Commandments Killer is based on Heinrich Pommerenke at all.

Pommerenke was born in Bentwisch, Mecklenburg. His father was killed during the war. After his mother left her two children in 1949 and moved to Switzerland, Pommerenke grew up with his grandparents. He committed his first rape as a student. In 1953 Pommerenke fled East Germany. He temporarily lived with his mother, but was expelled from Switzerland because he had raped another woman.

Between February and June 1959 Pommerenke killed four women ages 16 to 49 in the Black Forest area in southern Germany. He at that time lived in Hornberg. Pommerenke later stated that a screening of the movie The Ten Commandments triggered the series of murders. The depiction of scantily clad women dancing around the Golden calf made him realize that women were the root of all evil and had to be punished, he claimed. On the very same day he committed his first murder. The body of 49-year-old Hilde Konter was found in Karlsruhe on February 26, 1959. Pommerenke had raped her and killed her by slitting her throat.

Pommerenke confessed to overall 65 criminal acts, among them were the four murders, seven attempted murders, two accomplished and 25 attempted rapes, six robberies, ten burglaries and six petit larcenies. In October 1960 he was sentenced to six life sentences by the High Court (Landgericht) Freiburg. He died of leukemia in a prison hospital in Asperg in December 2008. At the time of his death he was the longest-serving prison inmate in Germany.

I'm excited for Marcy though....that was one thing I wondered why they left kind of unexplained in Season One, how she was always selling the house despite everything that happened there...there was clearly something up with her.

How would the scheduling for two seasons work though? They'd have to air it like Murder House, without any breaks to give enough time for promo to kick in for the next one and wrap up the previous. So October-December and maybe April-July for the second?



For this to work I think these dual seasons would have to be even more different from each other than the past seasons, people will need something extremely different and enticing to keep watching year round. Especially if they repeat the two a year seasons past 2016.

Tbh I'd rather them do it without the break. The show is EXTREMELY short anyway. I'm sure they will anyway, but meh. The idea of 2 seasons in one year sounds like a rush job. They might as well just do an extended season (21-24 episodes) starting from Sept-May

I don't think it would end up rushed if they have their **** together. Ryan, Brad and Tim Minear could easily spread themselves out and divide to work on two seasons simultaneously. They have a huge writing staff as it is and It sounds like they've hired a new group, so it won't be the same individuals working on both seasons.

Plus I think this would give the show a chance to show off some new talent while still having more than enough room for the main cast everyone loves. Honestly I think it could be a huge success if done correctly.
