Thing is, it makes no sense for a VotY nominee to not be on the 'gender' category.  It's like Toxic losing in 2004 when it was the ONLY female video nominated for Video of the Year. MTV.

That's only MTV, they obviously have to mention the most nominated acts - They still had to find a way to use Britney's name though.

Beyoncé is surely going to win the Best Coreography award as well. Btw, the several parodies qualify for that, not VotY.
Anywayz, in all honesty, Best Female category belongs to Lady GaGa already, even if we're not sure if she's a female or not. 
These two are the only ones I'm sure about. It's dealy funny to see Britney haters ALL pressed about her nominations though.
