And I was almost positive Hotel was gonna be the further decline of AHS as he moved onto a new project, but I'm actually hyped for this season.
But wasn't NPH cast in like October/November when most of the season was already shot? I mean they are still shooting first 3 episodes of Hotel and Ryan already said that he's thinking about how to introduce Jessica's character along with Jessica planning out her schedule. These are completely different situations
I doubt he's going to have Jessica spread across the season if she comes back for Hotel. My point was that he practically halted a majority of whatever plot was actually going on with Freak Show and then shoehorned NPH in and dedicated 2 episodes to him because he was a big star, and that seems likely to happen again with Jessica.
He just needs to hand over AHS to a talented producer with a new writing team and he can do whatever he wants with SQ and ACS. I don't really care about his new shows

My idea of an ensemble cast is almost equal screan time, and you can't say one or two people are the main characters like you could for previous AHS seasons. That seems like the best thing for AHS. I'm sick of the Jessica/Sarah show (as much as I love them), and I'm not about to sit here and let this be the Gaga show, either, which is why I was shocked to hear she was only in 8 episodes.

I'm pretty sure that Jessica will be back as Constance because Ryan is just lazy to write a new great character so it's easier to bring back the good old one. And if it's Constance who's coming back I don't really think there will be any problem because a Murder House crossover episode was already planned. It can be a cute stand-alone episode like 'Orphans' or have some connection with the season's main plot

8 is a good number. I have a feeling we'll have multiple episodes this season that center around one character.
