Well that's different. They obvi knew the album was coming at that point because she told them. They followed their regular promo plan to a tee, whereas with this nobody seems to know what's going on including Rih. I don't think there's been a solid plan since the Kanye tour fell through.

Considering how much time Rih spends in the studio, it wouldn't have phased me if I was an exec
also I didn't think they expected her to finish it so quickly.
I mean, if R8 isn't done why would everyone know its progress report? Like at the most some people at RN know if it's done or what the promo/tour plans are. Only a few of the higher-ups would be in-the-know about its sound or anything. Considering Rih has seemingly locked everyone out in regards to the music they might not know anything, either.
