Eternal Floette has a different stat spread. It has more speed and sp. atk but less sp. def than normal Florges. So an Eternal Florgess could become a more offensive mon cause right now it is basically Sylveon 2.0

I need a Lapras pre evolution so that it could potentially get caught early
Along with shared Miltank and Taurus pre evo, Kangaskhan pre evo(s), Skarmory pre evo, Tropius pre evo.

I get the "you can catch them earlier" thing, but pre evos are so useless and a waste of potential space for either new pokemon a mega or a regular evolution.

Not sure how pre evos hinder megas or evolutions?
Space is an argument but they could have also added nothing instead. I think it depends on how many original lines and evos also get introduced. If we get 100+ Pokemon and 4 or 5 pre evos i don't see the problem if it is as much as XY gave us than i completely get it

As someone who stans Water Pokemon, I agree. Starmie, Vaporeon and Lapras are my water trinity. I also stan Psychic pokemon and my trinity is Mewtwo, Espeon and starmie.
