No! I love Adele! But ever since her domination, all of the new and returning acts give basic performances at the microphone (when none of them are vocalists) and don't really try to do anything else to entertain. And people wonder why the music industry is over.
People always say the music industry is over. Why do y'all act like 2009-2012 was the peak of music (it hardly was) or pretending that there was no criticism of that "era"?
How many murders have to be committed before America bans guns
No offense but a whole entire generation of children were murdered at a school and no one batted an eyelash. The Republican Party profits off of gun manufacturing so until their evil villainy is stopped, nothing will ever happen.

Blame Adele for making "relatable" and frumpy people relevant and ending the public's interest in talented performers and performances. The stars of our generation are ending.
The music industry has always had highs and lows but with the VMAs on their death bed, streaming companies refusing to pay artists better, and album/single sales on the brink of extinction, saying the music industry is dying these days isn't a hyperbole.
Hopefully Adele's 32 is going to be more like 19 instead of 21. Or maybe it will be her Ray of Light moment, motherhood always brings out the best in artistry. OMG. It will be so good.

I'd say there is a direct correlation. Who wants to buy, say, a Charlie Puth album?
There are plenty of talented artists out there. When do you all support them? Just look at this thread. It's the same boring Katy vs. Gaga debates day in and day out. Blame the public, not the industry.

If the public doesn't support, no cash from the big cats!
