I don't see any point in getting worked up over the hiatus until we see what they do during the time off.
If they all flop solo, we're almost certain to get another 1D album + tour in 2017 so they can milk the last of their success.
If one or more of them do well solo, we'll get further solo albums with the option of a future reunion like Destiny's Child did.
No way to know until 2016. Either way, we're getting more music.
I'm actually excited to see what each of them does on their own. I'm not sure if Niall and Louis are going to release solo albums, but Liam, Zayn, and Harry solo albums seem like a given. Zayn's probably excites me the most after Louis' (if he does one). I'm also checking for Liam, even though he's my least favorite, since I've enjoyed each of 1D's releases more as he and Louis became more involved in the creative process.
You can clearly see a seperation between him and the other three. He might be into it when it comes to singing and interacting with fans but when it comes to interacting with the other three it's all very limited. Don't delude yourself, sure he hasn't tweeted because he doesn't want to lie but also because he doesn't want to say the break will be longer than what they've mentioned as it could hurt sales.
They said JC would be the one with a career and look where he his now. Don't get cocky too early counting your chickens before they've hatched.
I don't stan him because he has awful style, an annoying speaking voice, believes in his own hype etc.
Spaces has been slaying me so hard lately. It makes me a little sad hearing it cuz it feels personal to them now ( corny I know).

It's a shame that radio is not supporting them as much as they should. As soon as Stitches got into the top 10, it started getting amazing radio updates.
