Single: Ciara - "Dance Like We're Making Love"

we don't know exactly what's going behind the scenes and it's not that easy to book Ciara to perform on certain tv shows etc. but damn they don't even try
CiCi wants to spend some time with Russell, FINE but why not to do something AHEAD so your career wouldn't look so dead
many people were disappointed about dancing in the video, honestly as much as I LOVED the video and the dancing I imagined it differently, Ciara would make dance version of the video with super sexy, SMOOTH choreography (feminine version of 'Ride', but with just dance scenes), it could feature a male dancer, just show us exactly how it looks to dance like we're making love, it would take just a couple hours of filming, good camera and that's it, I'm sure the video would go viral and possible get more views than official video
then CiCi needs to open up to her fans a little! I LOVE these video diaries Rita Ora is uploading on her youtube channel (for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7a1GwCNweI)
CiCi doesn't even have to show much, just a couple of clips from the set of her photoshoots, from rehearsals, some cute moments with baby Future, her assistant could film it with her iPhone. Is that so much to ask??

Have you not seen some of the behind the scenes featurettes from the DLWML shoot, the I Bet shoot, the Shape photoshoot, and more?
IMO, Ci has shown her personality more than ever this era -- from I Can Do That to Hollywood Game Night to co-hosting Live with Kelly and Michael to interviews on CBS, The View, TODAY, and even stuff on her Instagram. And there's more coming, like her appearance on Project Runway. She's also shown her personality on tour, and highlighted different aspects of her personality through things like her fashion campaigns, her national anthem performance for the MLB, her appearance at Coachella, and her fierce Janet tribute. Plus, her "I Got You" video was super personal. Like, I'm not trying to argue with you, but I do get a little tired of people saying she doesn't show her personality... What else is she supposed to do? She's done so much this era -- maybe not all directly promoting the album, but she's diversifying, and as a fan I'm grateful to see so many different sides of Ci.
And I will not hear any DLWML video shade. It was flawless from start to finish and her most expensive looking video in ages.

omg, r u forreal??? im gonna legit start crying,
and everybody just shut up, shes gonna focus on her fashion line, release ocasionally some single or EP and expand her fashion empire. I want even her make up. I want lipstick with her signature.

I didn't say she doesn't show her personality, it would be great if she connected with her fans on more personal level, that's all
as I fan who follow her every move, I know how much she does, and I already bought her album/singles, but people/not-fans only hear about Russell/Future drama and don't support her
whatever she does these days, it almost always overshadows her music, sometimes she can't do much about it but other times she could push her music a little bit more without waiting for her label to do something and still make a room for other things like fashion, tv....
I don't want to argue with anyone, just discuss
and I think that releasing EP(s) would be a smart idea, we all know that she's not selling albums why wasting money on producing, shipping physical copies etc. these days is all about creating buzz on the Internet (look at The Weeknd or Drake)

I just wish she would perform more. She does just enough to stay on the label and pay her bills. She could atleast perform at festivals or something

Pretty sure you have to be invited to perform at festivals, but I get your point.
The VMAs are in 6 days and The Weeknd is the only confirmed performer 
I still think there's a very slim chance she could perform.

She was just at the Wireless festival in the UK.
How can you say she does 'just enough' to pay her bills?
I mean just this year she got a Gold single, Cavalli Modeling Gig, Top Shop Endorsement, Shape Mag Cover, NBC TV Show, etc. Bitch is working hard this year, her income is looking nice this year. Most of it is from non-music related things but it doesn't matter, Ciara is a celebrity, she doesn't just have one job.

Most of the frustration just comes from the fact that she doesn't seem to really care about her musical success. Where is the DLWML promo?

Prehaps she has too much going on and should forget about her music career? She was just in a interview suggesting that things could've gone better.. Promo etc.. That's been the case since Basic Instinct... Something ain't adding up. Yes she's been taking good pictures and having fun on tv shows but her music is always on the back burner.
Heck Epics other artist got Spotify promo.... I don't/haven't seen Ciara's Spotify promo. That could've help DLWML a lot. I'm sure Fifth Harmony has worked just as hard. So the excuses are old

my point it that she really doesn't have to do much to push DLWML a little bit, and yet she doesn't even try
she got all these attention and she did nothing with it (to promote her music), she can't even say 'hey I tried my best and it didn't just work out'

Ciara does care about her success. She's talking very passionately about the project and she did put her all into the video, creating one of her best to date. But when the song's sales stand at under 10k and when there's no airplay or strong Spotify streaming, of course the label won't book the VMA's or the BET Awards or even anything more than the one performance we got.
I don't know why DLWML didn't resonate with the public, but once she releases something that clicks in the way BP and even I Bet did, things will get better effortlessly.

That's How I'm Feelin' is gonna be that song for her if Epic ever makes the right decisions about her.
I was looking thru random Spotify playlists and it's on a few of them? Like, she's relevant.
People care about Ciara to some degree. She just needs to release a classic bop w/features. THIF is that.

DLWML was a good song but it shouldn't have been a single. It sounds very similar to a lot of other songs that were played on the radio a few years ago.
I thought she was going to go for that Trey Songz route or something. Guess not.
