MJ was definitely strange and weird and had alot of psychological issues but he wasnt ill intended. He had a fascination with children and childlike things not because he was sexually attracted to them but because he himself felt like he identified with them. He admitted to having sleepovers with them because he genuinely didn't see what was wrong with it. He wasnt trying to **** them though imo. He for real just thought he was one of them.

I think this only works to mantain an already developed brand. Using this model won't work for new artists or artists not established yet.

I actually agree with this, he was clearly not mentally all there and the fact that parents would allow their kids to sleep over with him after the 1993 allegations means they were probably looking to exort him

It might work, depending on how it's executed. There is no mystery about artists anymore.

I liked what iamwhoami did a couple of years ago (people thinking it was Xtina before Bionic came out ) More artists should try that.

Most young black people aren't familar with Madonna's old songs whereas Time After Time, True Colours and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun are universally known songs. It's amazing how many classics Cyndi racked up in her short career.
