and all of the vocals, sounded like someone was banging a trash can.
Who OK'd the release of that awful record?

Yeah it has the makings of a big record but the whole theme is silly and Ariana sounds like a high school girl waiting to lose her virginity and be on teen mom while playing innocent in front of her parents that are too bothered to pay her attention.
Like a disney girl still in her disney era trying to be sexy.
Nicki's verse is hard to understand and really doesn't say anything.
Jessie J has the passion and I wished it was used to a better song.
They really tried to make that a lady marmalade hit.

LOL.
I'll say this...the way you can manipulate charts now I honestly think she will eventually get a #1 hit.
That said, she's put out a good 70 something songs so when she does get that #1 hit she'll be the artist that took the longest or had the most failed attempts to finally reach the summit.
An accolade...maybe not one to brag about but still

Bang Bang is really a bunch of noise but it still coheres melodically. Max Martin's power.
The Lady Marmalade comparisons have really been overdone but it's still apt. Somehow each layer makes the song more listenable. Maybe it's because it drowns out all of Jessie's nonsense?

If the lyrics were better and the sounds were more cohesive it could be a classic record.
It just doesn't do it on all fronts and then that video is just a joke. So silly
