My dad is ancient, so any rhythm and blues record from the 50s-80s seems to satisfy him.

My mom was into R&B as well, and apparently likes 80s Chicago house music. Neither one of them seem to care for the legendary artists that have come and gone.

I think I'm the only one who likes Pure pop music.

I thought everyone grew up in households where music was played all the time, enthusiastically - talked about, blared out from my Dad's great system etc. I can't imagine growing up without that, poor others.
