I've been a Mac girl all my life, but I'm actually liking Windows 10 (I bought an all-in-one touchscreen W10 from Dell for about a third of what a new iMac would've cost --that makes me and my bank account happy).

Okay y'all so I have a question.

I kept the computer my university gave me so I could have a back up in case something happens with my Mac. I still have to log in with my university username and password, and I don't want to do that anymore. I can't factory reset the computer because I'm not an administrator though.

If I install Ubuntu onto it, will that fix this? I won't need iTunes on it because I have my Mac, and that's the only problem I've had with Ubuntu in the past.
