Well the only place where it really flopped was the US, it was a decent hit everywhere else.
I don't know how US radios work and how they decide what to play and whatnot, but for some reason they boycotted that particular song (and MTN and Guy).

Yes and no. The BTW era was managed to messily that a lot of songs lost their potential (TEOG, MTN).

So had Scheisse gotten a proper release, enough promo, payola and a huge video, it would have smashed, perhaps even more than the frontloaded lead.
