She's definitely being snubbed by radio, and I'm not just talking about urban.
But still, even with 0 radio support, the video, the performance and the interviews should have helped the song out, even a little bit. People just weren't interested for whatever reason, which is strange.

But based on the views they were clearly interested in the video... And I assume it wasn't just for the visuals... I don't know, it just really doesn't make sense to me.

Something in the water ain't cleen.....
Compared to her peers the interest is their, tamar, monica's, brady's etc couldn't see these type of views within the same time frame. Even her behind the scenes, audio etc views are nice. Hell even within the last 24 hours if you got to her video on YT people are still discovering the song and loving it, being seen by an entire new audience. Going as far as saying "When she makes it big, I hope she doesn't do drugs like the other pop starts who make it big" Like bissshhh do you know who you're talking about? Then I sat back and thought about it and of course they don't know...
Point is all this love she receives and new found interest is not translating on paper for some weird reason. She is in need of a breakthrough and she will be well on her way.

It's definitely not just the visuals. When Jackie released I noticed so many people pointed out DLWML before it was even announced as a single, especially the non-fans. The song itself should be a damn smash

This! Out of all the underperforming singles Ciara has had, this one is the most puzzling. The buzz was there from the beginning, the video was successful, she performed it on TV, yet nobody bought it.
Anyway... We got our worst update ever today. There's still a very slight chance that the song will bounce back. Monday / Tuesday will be pretty interesting, given that the updates of next week will be compared to the disastrous updates of this week, meaning that the song has space to increase.

It's doing better than before on Spotify. I think it got about 400k - 450k plays this week, which is more than it's ever received in a week (excluding the week it came out).
YouTube views have slowed down but she still gets a decent amount. She's at 21 million views there.
So, overall her streaming is decent, but not good enough.

she's like the one who people're afraid to stan for because of a few years flop
just like Carly, basically most people love her songs if they have a chance to listen, but they're still hesitate to buy her music because she's considered a flop
reminds me of how everyone turned on Mariah during the early 2000s
all Ci needs right now is a solid breakout hit, big pop feature and people will jump on the bandwagon love again. she has the star power only behind Rih and Bey after all

!!!
I think she needs to do what Nicki did with The Re-Up. Everyone's complaining that this album is too pop so just do a re-release that has mainly urban songs. Basically a Ciara 2.0 with 5-6 tracks. If they can market it correctly, I think it would slay and make people forget about the Jackie "era."

Ugh I don't want to give up on her but I'm just about at the end of my rope... only thing that keeps me going is remembering Tina Turner & Cher had it worse/just about the same and they made huge comebacks. But today music climate I don't have much faith that could happen.

Thankfully, it's not that tragic for Ci
She gets one hit per era, even when she flops with the album itself (LSM -> Ride -> BP -> I Bet).
Plus, the Ciara era was pretty promising for an r&b act and noone knows where it could have led if it hadn't ended prematurely.
She did it once, she can do it again. Cici has 9 lives

Exactly. The squad just needs to adjust their expectations and accept Ci's position in the industry, imo. Ci is never gonna be the biggest in the game again, but she IS going to keep putting out music and doing just fine. The fact that she's had at least one hit per era for six eras -- consistently since her debut -- is much better than most. I mean, most acts can't even make it past the sophomore slump. Ci is established now, she'll be just fine until she decides to stop.
