Hmmm...It's her choice whether she does interviews or not. If their fans don't mind, I don't know why anyone should.

Beyonce is one of the biggest stars on earth and has been for years, she's been in the industry since the late 90's and has faced more than her fair share of criticism and media exploitation. Excuse me if she doesn't want to give interviews or the like but who are you to tell her what to do?
She's a grown woman, a mother and a wife as well. She already has enough on her plate. She releases great music for her fans, goes on tour and her fan base gets all that we need. Shouldn't The people here complaining be more worried about what their favorite artist is doing?
Beyonce isn't your friend, she doesn't even know that we exist. Telling her how to live her life is stupid and pretentious of you. That's the T

Bey isn't even a artist that's in ur face, Y'ALL choose to follow her every move, Y'ALL choose to make random lame ass rumors, Y'ALL choose to judge her. All she does is live her life and do what she loves.

I don't think one can be too famous for interviews but ATRL shows its bias with Beyonce all the time. Just look at Britney threads.

The haters expect more of Beyoncé's publicity team than her fans.
Maybe one day you can realize that you're looking for reasons to hate, not actually feeling hate. You see, when you consume so much time in hate, you get used to it. You feel comfortable in it. It becomes part of your identity. "ME? No I hate broccoli I will never try that soup." You use petty ways to over explain why you don't like something, instead of simply avoiding it because it has started to give you pleasure to show your displeasure.
Just stop. Take a deep breath. Ask yourself if what you're complaining about really matters to your life. It's going to be okay.

From what I remember growing up during the 2000's Beyonce has always been one of the most discussed female artists for 10+ years now.

Well it is true that these days when a pop star gives an interview there are ESSAYS written everywhere over analyzing what they say. See the Gaga thread about Madonna or the Taylor Swift Rolling Stones threads

Exactly. She's still one of the most talked about celebrities and frankly, how many times is she going to tell us that she loves her family and is working on her album?
All interviews are repetitive, not only Bey's but all celebrities. Interviews have become pointless and I'm glad she's letting her work speak for itself.

Even if that was so, she’s been consistently near the top and she just keeps growing in respect and love. I don’t think it matters if you were considered the #1 girl if you couldn’t sustain that and are now kind of a joke.

Are you going to tell me you wouldn’t be amazed at what your life has become, how much power you actually have?
Come on.

Because we know she can release her album whenever she wants to unlike other Pop starlets that shall remain nameless.

Bey and Jay are the biggest and most popular music couple yet they had a private wedding. They shared first pics of their daughter with the world for free. We are still getting amazing albums, videos, performances and tours, that's what we want and expect.
All that matters is - she's recording new music, yesterday she hit the recording studio
I don't need to hear "yeeees, I'm working on new music. It'll be different and you'll hear it soon" like WTF. She never hyped her ****, she lets the music speak for itself. When it's ready we'll hear it.

I totally forgot she's done these things and now people are upset because they don't get to read a piece of paper ?! Pls

Well I've never said that, and it's not blind stanning. I'm really not sure you understood what I wrote. Can you maybe re-read because I was listing many of her accomplishments and then explaining why her saying she has more power than she can process is not a crazy or arrogant thing to feel.

I side with the Hive on this.
As a Bey fan, I can say that I miss her giving interviews, and flashing her smile, and being all cute lol.
But at the end of the day, she only ever engaged the public so she could grow her career, and now she's reached the point where she can decide whether or not she wants to play that game any more.
I will say though, I think part of the silence is intentional because the irony is that the less she says, the more powerful and exclusive she becomes. It's honestly put her on another level. It's genius imo.
EDIT: While I think it's genius, there's also a downside, as many people increasingly think she lacks personality, or is pretentious. But I think the benefits far outweigh the cons, as a single national interview will kill those negative perceptions for the most part, while retaining the "larger than life" Icon status.

Why are the non-fans so bothered though?
I miss her interviews but at the same time it's just more irrelevant questions she isn't interested in answering which is her business. It may come across stuck up or whatever but she can do as she pleases since it's her place to make these decisions after 20 years in the industry. People who don't even like her having such strong opinions on it seem stupid when 90% of her stans are cool with it. I'm guessing everyone wants her to slip up in an interview so they can get a 80 page thread dragging her apparent "lack of intelligence".
She let the music do the talking last era by dropping the album without a single word said and it made the whole listening experience special, so..
