Wow, these were the only six songs I didn't love too. Everything else is great. I listened to the album for the PQS and it was good. And I'm not a Brit fan.

Back in 1999-2000 pop singles from the BIG acts were SO ridiculously good (I'm talking Britney, NSYNC only with No Strings Attached, BSB) that it didn't matter if the rest of the album is dated filler. The singles make it a classic. Nowadays we maybe get one song a year that's of that quality, usually none.

She was the executive producer, but the entire concept or the songs created for the album weren't even her ideas. Lisa, one of the women who used to work for Jive, was the mastermind behind Blackout. She's the one who brought Danja in the team because she saw how great FS/LS was. There's a video on YouTube. Britney basically chose which songs she wanted to be on the album and sang songs that producers handed to her.
