She is not on a 360 deal which gives her more freedom with how she wants to handle things.
And in times when records are hardly selling and streaming is taking over, her label makes less money out of her releases. They also don't get anything off her touring or merchandising. She keeps that money for herself after paying her costs.
So investing in her is rather expensive. That's why a push from her label is not there like in the beginning, especially no push on the radio. Now they focus on the fanbase. Establishing that fanbase was already expensive enough.
